R.I.P. Alexander McQueen

The beginning of London's Fashion Week marks the end of Hackney, London's; Alexander McQueen. Found dead in his home in London England, he was a highly coveted designer with a flare for the unusual. A statement released from his website reads as follows:
"On behalf of Lee McQueen's family, Alexander McQueen today announces the tragic news that Lee McQueen, the founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand has been found dead at his home. At this stage it is inappropriate to comment on this tragic news beyond saying that we are devastated and are sharing a sense of shock and grief with Lee's family.
Lee's family has asked for privacy in order to come to terms with this terrible news and we hope the media will respect this.
"

Its a tragic loss to the fashion world, and displayed below are some of my fav pieces inlcuding his collab with Puma, the Mettalic 'Sandals', and the hugely popular Skull Scarf. Speculation of his death, although very fresh and unfounded is that he streamed his death from his iPhone for all to see that were paying attention. The details on how he took his life have eluded my sources & I, however it is known that he was to stream his 2010 Fashion Week experience as stated here.
Aged 40 years old, Alexander McQueen had acheived awards that included being a 4 time "British Designer of the Year" between 1996 and 2003. With a life surrounded by much controversy via his openly gay sexuality, and his unsuccessful stint at Givinchy, he can now finally rest in peace.
