Beanie Sigel Vs. Jay-Z, The Saga Thusfar...

Y'all in my City of Toronto have a concert happening tonight, so we may be tuned into all things HOV. If so, you heard Beanie Sigel's real track, Average Cat. He makes some serious accusations like police being called on him by Hov during the Powerhouse Concert '09, as well as apparently knowing things that would "make B look at him different".
Yesterday morning, The Broad Street Bully calls in to Charlamagne's Radio show to talk about the situation, which you can listen to here. He goes over his gripes and his final statement is about those you love leaving footprints on your heart, & the richest man not having his first dollar, but retaining his first friend. From what I know, Memphis Bleek & Jay-Z are still cool, no?
Personally, I'm sick of dudes crying about what Hov aint do for them. Thats usually the case when one goes @ Hov, "You didnt do this, or that for me". Like Hov says in the following response while on Montreal leg of his tour yesterday, Beanie was given alot, like a deal, clothing line, & record label.

Jay-Z answers Beanie Sigel from la rue du hiphop on Vimeo.

We'll see what comes of it, as Iceberg Slim simply dismisses the issue, and keeps it moving.
From my P.O.V. reading what I have read, and hearing what I've heard, it seems kind of "strategic".
The other week, Sigel was on the radio saying positive things about Hov & the BP3 album.
The other day on Fabolous' twitter page, he said he was partying in the Chi with Beanie & Bleek, and everything was all good just a week ago with them.
Why is Beanie cussing out Bleek too then. What happend int he last week?
What's done in dark, comes to light, for all involved. We'll see eventually. The above pic is Jay & Sigel @ The Apollo November 2007

Throwback Thursday: The Munroe Edition

I'm WELL aware that this aint that old, im just THAT LATE. I heard of this dude, Colin Munroe due to the Cannonball track with Drake & absolutely loved that joint. I heard he was the dude to check for over & over again. I did not heed the warning. Now, here we are damn near in 2010, & I just uploaded and this dude is on the same mp3 mix in my Jeep as the BP3, OB4CL2, & Kid Cudi Man On the Moon. Slackin' w/ my mackin' huh?Since this "I Want Those Flashing Lights" track was what got him to blow, it was only right I included it.
Dude is hella talented, & I am a bonafied Colin Munroe fan...excuse me nigguhs, I got my **late pass** in hand.

Rick Ross...makes me LAUGH

PLEEEEASE watch this video, and listen to how he describes 50 Cent & Money Mayweather. Maybe its just me, but I could NOT stop laughing watching this dude clown those guys.
Sure, this dudes own rep is tarnished, but for someone, coming from a foundation of lies so rocky, the fact that he can sit there straight faced & clown on dudes is priceless to me.

Props to RealTalkNY

AZ - The Come Up

AZ, another 718 representative, big track with DJ Absolut on the wheels.
BROOOOKLYN.

Kanye's Pastelle = D.O.A. (Dead On Arrival)

Couldn't tell you if Kanye's recent rants and offensive behaviour are at fault, but apparently all his investors from his soon-to-be-released-now-never clothing line Pastelle backed out & his line will never see the light of day.
Don't worry 'Ye, @ least you still got Nike & LV.

Usher... An Example of Why I Want NO Kids.

Usher drops his children off to his mother's house, & soon to be ex-wife follows him, bangs on the door to get the children. Ole girl aint get what she wants, so Ursher's car tires and doors pay the price.
It's a sh*tty recording, but you get the jist.

When a woman's fed up... (R.Kelly Voice)

Throwback Thursday: Time's Up

O.C.
One of my favourite artists, period. Classic D.I.T.C. member music.
BROOOOOKLYN.

Talk Of Toronto x MTL x Wristpect x Sir Lancelot

The other weekend I filled the tank of a car that was my property for another 24hrs. That blunder meant a road trip or siphoning gas... so I headed to the Francophone province to support my ppls DJ Wristpect & Lancelot. We touched down in MTL approx 7pm on the Sunday, checked into the telly, and headed straight for this Portuguese restaurant named "Janos". Kinda dope. Don't diss, Lancelot will find you.

After one of the resident DJs met up for dinner to politic about som sh*t, we reached back to the telly, for sleep/getfresh for Tokyo Nightclub.

Guest drummer joining them was JB Allen (tight that I dont play the drums anymore). Not certain how many times you heard DJ x Live Set, but sh*t is phenomenal. Industry dude with hands in all sorts of pots, Chops, was the 1 lining things up, and responsible for bringing myself & co. to they city to put it down.

Night was on point, drumming was stellar & the crowd loved what T.O. brought. The few snaps don't capture accurately how The Dot brought La Dopeness.

Today's Special

Like fine wine for real...

Stray Shots from F/W '09

FreshJive Fall Jacket

RANSOM Dark Blue ButtonUp

ACAPULCO GOLD Tees (...are here because of the Magnum T)

NSW Leather Varsity Jackey

STUSSY ZipUp Hoodie

Red Wing Boots x Ronnie Fieg

I absolutely LOVE these boots. They are damn expensive, but I will sacrifice one weekend to buy them. Displayed in these pictures is the Ash Grey & the classic red boot, formally known as Oro Russet version.I know you can cop these @ Get Outside on Queen St., & when I was in MTL the other weekend, Urban Outfitters was carrying some of them as well. They are getting GOT. Shouts to Hypebeast

Throwback Thursday: Governing Laws of the Block

I chose this track to be my Throwback for this week, as the title resonates with me.
I was out & about making my rounds around GTA, as I had some shit to do that my mother would be less than proud of (sssshhhhhh).
Usually they only happen once a night if at all, but twice lastnight sh*t popped off where someone ended up less than 100% (aint never me, I do not slip).
Driving back to my end of the GTA, it made me think how ppl get stereotyped incorrectly, as it is those least likely to try you, who do. Like Rick Ross on MTV Cribs, even if I'm layed up on my couch, I'm never slippin'.
Reason why? It's the Code of the Streets.

Pharrell x Hermes

When you matter, clothing companies make you custom pieces.
I guess Pharrell matters, cause dude is wearing a custom, authentic Crocodile Skin Hermes Hoodie.

Personally, I think it's ill as sh*t.

Royce 5'9" - Part of Me

This track is the art of storytellin' gone incredibly right. Royce describes a one night stand gone wrong, and illustrates how you can lose a significant part of you in doing so.
Peep the vid & watch until the end.

Roadtrip to Montreal w/ DJ Wristpect & MC SirLancelot, got back Monday
Picking up my new Jeep on Tuesday
Getting my free Blackberry Tour Wednesday
Finally getting my free GPS for my new car today
...although it appears the sun is shining on me right now, I know what Hell On Earth feels like, & it's weeks like this one that confirms better days/weeks do exist.

Fat Shouts to all my Families (Immediate, Extended, KAMA & WhiteBoy) for holding me down.
