Jamaica + Snow 1988 =Cool Runnings....Vancouver 2010 + Jamaica= Ski Cross

So after watching my all time favourite movie "Cool Runnings" on the weekend I discovered that Jamaica will be represented in Vancouver by the winter version of BOLT in the Ski Cross event!!!

When I heard Ski Cross I was so lost...what is Ski Cross?? I watch sports, TSN, Sports Centre, Sports Net, and I had no idea, so I looked into it :)

It is, "four competitors speeding down a steep, winding the course together, taking on banked turns, berms and each other along the way. The first one across the finish line wins."

Errol Kerr decided he would take this on. He was born to an American mother and a Jamaican father. He grew up in Westmoreland but later left with his mother to reside in Lake Tahoe, in Sierra Nevada.

Errol, will compete on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 9:15am.
