1st To Be Investigated?

"Last year after Miami journalist Sam Ferguson wrote an expose' for both Hip Hop Weekly and his own Don Diva magazine about Rick Ross being a former prison guard, Rick went on a rampage telling anybody who would listen that Sam was gonna pay. In one interview Ross was quoted saying, “Ferguson is a liar, he’s an informant, he’s a rat, he’s a bitch. I hope he’s offended; get at me in the streets nigga you know how we play. This shit about to get deeper than rap.” Fast forward to last Friday when Sam Ferguson was murdered on the Florida turnpike after a hail of bullets rained down on his car."

Style Spotlight: Brooklyn Industries

Reason Number 324, Why I’m Obsessed with New York City…
Brooklyn Industries. My bbf Theresa introduced me to Brooklyn Industries three years ago on a warm summers day in Park Slope.
What I admire most about this store is not only the impeccable style but also the quality of clothing. When you touch an item, you can actually feel that they use everything from quality fabrics, to excellent stitching. It’s so true; even they list an “obsession with quality” in the company description.
Another reason why I admire this store is the fact that it’s a one-stop shop for the whole family! Women, men, & children’s fashions all under one roof and accessories too!
Here are a few pieces that I have my eyes on:

Don’t forget the little one

I love the BI creedo:

Isn’t that what life is about?
There is a HUGE sale right now at the online store! https://www.brooklynindustries.com , and you know I love me some bargains!

The Republican Genius Strikes Again
By now, you should have heard about the Town Halls being held all over America to discuss the hot button issue of Health Care Reform. Arlen Specter facilitated one of these town halls, and ol' boy got cussed. Above is the opinion of Glenn Beck, one of the nuttiest Republicans (see post accusing Obama of being a racist)
I wish I got this Fox News Channel @ home... they stay with jokes.
In my opinion, its crazy to think that "leveling the playing field" amongst all races in regards to education, health care etc. can be perceived as a bad thing. Not that it is Obama's primary and sole goal, it's crazy to think that there are those who think that equality, true equality, is a bad thing.

Style Spotlight: Dime Piece Designs

Have you heard of Dime Piece Designs?
If not, Get Familiar.
I discovered Dime Piece about two years ago & they never ever seem to disappoint me. Everything from thier style, print & designs are on point. What I especially love about this company is thier committment to encourage & empower women.
MY favorite quote from their website:
"Pussy appeal is a natural force that all female's control. We as a brand encourage women to see the need to reconsider thier role in the game. We (women) are in control period. A Dime Piece is a woman who appeals to her audience with genuine
swag"
A true dat! Pussy is force that we control, stop letting the wrong people take control. Ya heard? Ok enough with the Oprah talk...
Here are a few of my favorite looks from the Summer 09 collection:

Im saving the best for last:

"I aint no wifey" ya damn right. Put a ring on that shit first, until then, I aint no bloodclat wifey.
Even Estelle knows what's up!

You can order any of thier amazing threads at dimepiecedesigns.com, all prices are in US dollars, but get on that the Canadian dollar is at .91!

The Republican Genius: Steve Smith Discusses
I like the point @ the end, where it's a decision for the Republican Party to distance themselves from Glenn Beck's statements, unless they want to be perceived as a party that condones this behaviour & supports these type of remarks.
I recall in the Democratic primary race against Hilary Clinton, Obama's Reverend was talking "hateful, antiPatriotic, America deserved 911" noise, & it was everyone & their mother demanding Obama address it & check it.
Double standards?

Becuase of the description the Police Officer gave towards the end.

**UPDATE: Apparently Brisco got pisseed & decided to ban the video. Oops!**
